Meet Gretchen Lemoine
How did you get interested in real estate?
My mother was a residential real estate agent in the San Francisco East Bay Area when I was growing up. My stepfather was a farm and land broker, as well. Real estate discussion was a regular part of conversation in our home. When my children were grown, I left my career as a legal secretary. A career as a Realtor was a natural transition for me.
What is your favorite part of working in real estate?
Helping my clients achieve their goal of buying or selling a property gives me great satisfaction. The relationship I develop with my clients is important to me. Many of my clients have become lifelong friends.
What do you like to do outside of real estate?
I love spending time with my family. Reined cow horses are also a great interest of mine. Also, travel to the coast is great for recharging my batteries! I enjoy reading books that help me grow as an individual and continue to increase my knowledge in real estate sales.
Who is your hero and why?
My parents and my stepfather are my heroes. They each instilled the value of honesty, integrity and hard work in my core values.
What is the best part of living in the Central Valley?
I appreciate living in an agriculturally based area. The down to earth values of the farm community are felt throughout our community. Our location within driving distances of the coast, the mountains, the Bay Area or Southern California and, yet, having affordable housing in California is invaluable.
