Meet Heather Ritter
How did you get interested in real estate?
I ended up in real estate by accident. I accepted a job at a temp agency in 1996. I ended up as a permanent employee for a title company and 3 years later I was a branch manager. I then spent 15 years in escrow and eventually go into the selling side of the business. My escrow experience is invaluable to my real estate career. I know the process from the inside out, literally!
What is your favorite part of working in real estate?
My favorite part of this industry is the thrill of doing a great job & seeing people happy. This business gives me butterflies like a new relationship! I love it, I am in love with it, the good, the bad and the ugly. I love putting my knowledge and expertise to the test and making tough situations work. I love problem solving.
What do you like to do outside of real estate?
I love to cook, camp, cook while we camp, spend time with friends & family and travel when possible.
Who is your hero and why?
Who is my hero? Anyone who is kind and selfless and/or in any service-related work.
What is the best part of living in the Central Valley?
The best part of our beloved San Joaquin Valley is the small town feel in a large city and our access to so much around us. There are tons of things to do here in close proximity; concerts, farmer’s markets, parks, lakes, mountains & coast trips. We have incredible agriculture, some fascinating history and great people to share it all with!
