Meet Hugo Guzman
How did you get interested in real estate?
I would say I first developed an interest in real estate when i was in college and would go to open houses for fun! I found it exciting to see new builds with all the upgrades or get a sneak peak at an older home with plently of charm. I would pretend to be a realtor then and give my friends tours of houses that I had already visited the day before. Now I can see that I was simply practicing for my future career.
What is your favorite part of working in real estate?
I love working with people! Every single person is unique and has an amazing story to share if we just take the time to listen. I enjoy being able to help people achieve their dreams of home ownership and guide them through a life changing moment.
What do you like to do outside of real estate?
I love going on family trips and exploring new places with my girls. I love food.I graduated with a degree in Nutrition and that’s where I developed a passion for cooking and food. Needless to say my wife and I really enjoy going out and trying new places. On occasion you can find me cheering on the Bulldogs either on the field or on the court. Go Dogs!
Who is your hero and why?
My mother and father are my heroes. They helped shape the way I am today. My mom taught me how to show compassion and how to truly listen to others. My dad showed me what a strong work ethic looks like and he taught me the importance of having a why in life. I am truly blessed to have great parents!
What is the best part of living in the Central Valley?
The diversity! People from all walks of life that still share common values . Everyone is friendly, hardworking, and family oriented. Also it helps that we are centrally located to everything! I cant think of another place that within a few short hours you can be at relaxing at the beach or hiking in the Sierras.
