Meet Jared Kim
How did you get interested in real estate?
In 2006, I became interested in real estate investing and thought it would be a good idea to get my license. It sounds cliche, but I was immediately captivated by the idea of helping people lay claim to a piece of land that would host their lives. The vessel that would hold the memories made, silently observing milestones come and gone, and the place they’d feel safe and loved.
What is your favorite part of working in real estate?
I have undoubtedly fallen in love with this work- building relationships while working with people is top on the list.
What do you like to do outside of real estate?
Family (love spending time with my wife and kids), spending time outdoors, traveling and eating good food.
Who is your hero and why?
My parents- they immigrated to the States when I was only 7 years old. I’m still amazed by their courage to come to a foreign country with 2 young kids with nothing more than cloths in their suitcase and a few bucks in their pocket. Working hard and providing so much opportunities for my brother and I.
What is the best part of living in the Central Valley?
The pace of life- you really don’t understand how great we have it here in the Valley, the affordability, the amenities, the schools, the proximity the great outdoors, and so on.
