Meet Linda Martinez
How did you get interested in real estate?
It was a dream of mine for a long time. Kids and life took over and as a single mom supporting my family became #1. Then, a great opportunity came for for a free real estate class in 2013 and I jumped at it. I have never been sorry.
What is your favorite part of working in real estate?
All the people I get to meet. The excitement of handing over keys to a buyer or the satisfaction of the seller in knowing I have done a great job for him or her.
What do you like to do outside of real estate?
I am also a tax preparer during the tax season. I do love going to the coast or visiting my other daughter in Southern California. I am also hooked on cruises – anywhere!
Who is your hero and why?
Ernestine Shepard -she was at 77 the oldest female competitive body builders. She has overcome high blood pressure, weight gain and severe depression after losing her sister to a brain aneurism all through something she loves to do. She has taught me that if you really want something – you can have it at any age and that age is nothing but a number. She is now 81and still going strong!
What is the best part of living in the Central Valley?
Coming from Southern California it is the slower pace that I enjoy. The Central Valley is more affordable than most other areas in California and truly does have a lot to offer. Plus most of my immediate family lives here.
